Leevon is local to the C106.1 listening area. He grew up just 40 miles out of Cape Girardeau in Arab, Missouri. Leevon grew up listening to C106.1.
"I have wanted to work in in radio since I was little," said Leevon. "Cousin Carl has always been a hero of mine and now I get to work for him; it's great."
Leevon graduated from Zalma High School in 2008. He started working for C106.1 part time in the spring of 2011 while attending Southeast Missouri State University, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Radio with a minor in music.
Leevon also tours the country as part of the bluegrass band, Tommy Brown and the County Line Grass, which is based out of Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
Leevon can be heard weekdays from Noon until 2:00 and also on a few Saturdays a month on C106.1. He occasionally fills in for Randal Lee on the "Midweek Bluegrass Breakdown" as well.
